Bass guitar in an electric guitar Amp?

I'm looking to purchase a Bass guitar soon. I have a 15W Roland Cube atm which I use with my Cort EVL.

Now if I buy this bass will I have to buy a bass amp or could I use my Cube?

Now I've found some decent secondhand bass's for my budget but they don't include an amp. I do have a means of playing through my computer if need be.

Should I get a cheaper bass and pick up a bass amp along with it or buy a more expensive bass and just play through my computer or without any amplication at all for the time being?

Hi,

I would not recommend using your Bass with a Guitar amp, you can destroy your speaker with is mostly made up of fragile paper. You would be much better off getting yourself a 15 or 20 watt bass amp, Roland do a cube one and the Fender Frontman Bass Amp isn't half bad.
